“The benefit of having done this for 12 years is I had a lot of songs in mind, for whenever I had this opportunity,” Mann tells .
“I just wanted to sing the best songs that I could find, whether I wrote them or not.” The originals, two of which Mann wrote, include “Roads,” an emotional song about life’s journey, which will most likely be his first single.
The two songs that are his own are "Falling" and "Cuore," the latter of which is in Italian and features Bach's Air on a G String.
The final four performers took the stage tonight for a chance at a recording contract with Universal Republic and $100,000 prize.
